Costs
To keep things simple and transparent, I usually charge in one of two ways: an hourly rate or a fixed price, plus GST and material costs.
An hourly rate is often the best option for small, straightforward, or quick jobs, such as hanging a picture, fixing a leaky tap or patching a shallow dent in plasterboard. An hourly rate may also apply for regular visits to complete ongoing work. For these types of jobs, a minimum one-hour charge applies.
A fixed price is generally more suitable for larger or more involved jobs, where the work may take several hours or days, or span multiple visits. For example, a large yard tidy-up or painting a room. This option gives you greater clarity around the job's overall cost from the outset.
If anything unexpected comes up once the job is underway, I will talk it through with you and explain any changes that may affect the scope, timing, or cost, so you are informed every step of the way.

I am happy to provide a quote so we can agree on timing and costs before any work begins.
Payment Options
Unless we agree otherwise, payment in full is due immediately upon completion of the work.
For your convenience, I accept bank transfer, cash, and credit or debit card payments, although a surcharge may apply to card payments. A tax receipt can also be provided on request.
To help keep scheduling fair for everyone, a fee may apply if a confirmed job is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice and is not rebooked.
